I am now on christmas holidays. This is good. I don't restart work till the 15th of Jan. Annual leave is a wonderful thing. I have even done all my christmas shopping, which is unprecedented at this early stage. What shall i do?

"Reasons why Christianity is the truth
Here are 10 reasons why Christianity is the truth:
1.) The Bible 2.) Miracle 3.) Creation 4.) Love 5.) Islam is fake 6.) Hinduism is fake 7.) Shamanism is fake 8.) Darwin's THEORY of evolution is a mistake 9.) God said it is true in the Bible
None can refute these."

"Romans 1 teaches that all atheists are liars who deliberately suppress the truth. Genesis proves that so called theistic evolutionists are no better than atheists. So if we want to find the truth in a court case, simply replace judges and juries with accredited young earth creationists. It would certainly solve problems like Dover."

"to do so or to accept evolution is to mean that Genesis in its literal context is wrong. which is not the case, because it it was inccorect, it would say so itself." - www.fstdt.com
I think I may adopt this as my motto.

"Homophobia is like global warming & the hole in the Ozone layer. neither of them exist." - fstdt.com
I heartily recommend this website. It provides absolute hours of entertainment.
As i have time, i thought that i should update my lj. Things at work are going along fairly well. Things at home are also going fairly well. I now live on campus, and am charged with keeping the on-campus students out of trouble, and helping them, and stopping them dying too much. So far we haven't had many major incidents. 2 hospital trips, one persistent drunk and some poor girl who had a shoulder operation which got septic. In more personal news, there isn't any. Gippsland is a fairly boring place.

"One of the most basic laws in the universe is the Second Law of Thermodynamics. This states that as time goes by, entropy in an environment will increase. Evolution argues differently against a law that is accepted EVERYWHERE BY EVERYONE. Evolution says that we started out simple, and over time became more complex. That just isn't possible: UNLESS there is a giant outside source of energy supplying the Earth with huge amounts of energy. If there were such a source, scientists would certainly know about it." - www.fstdt.com
I love it.

Apparently there was a flying tram in the commonwealth games openning ceremony and it's being installed in the museum. Am i the only one who thinks that this makes the Museum finally, totally, utterly crap?

The past few weeks have been most hectic. The next couple of weeks are also going to be hectic. The start of semester is always a most busy time. This business partly explains why I haven't been updating. The other part is that my updates tend to be boring.
I am now happily ensconsed in my on campus unit. I have an extra job, where i live on campus and look after the rez students and keep them out of trouble and stuff. Monash is paying me an extra 12000 a year to do this. The only downside is i now have to spend every 2nd weekend on campus, just in case there is a problem. There really isn't that much to say, really. I am looking forward to later in March when I have some weekends free and will hopefully actually see some of you at birthdays and engagements and what not.
Oh yes, i'm also buying some goldfish. I wanted a ferret or guinea-pig but they aren't allowed on campus. Also, they'd probably be eaten by the stupid feral cats that the stupid feral international students insist on feeding. If they don't stop, we are going to have to start something drastic.

It has been 23 days my last posting. In that time It has become 2006, Christmas holidays finished and I went back to work I have done some work (not too much) I went to the celebrations of various birthdays. I have applied for, and got, extra responsiblities. This comes with an extra 12 grand a year, which is why I like it. I am about to take annual leave. So after 5pm, no more work for 2 weeks ish.
I suspect most of you find my livejournal posts rather dull.

Today i'm on a Work Adventure! Im in training for being a web author/guy at Monash. In Clayton. This involved driving down in a shiny work car! Very shiny! The training doesn't seem too complicated, but I do get a nice certificate which will help in padding the resume. Unfortunately the training goes all day, and then I have to drive back up to gippsland. Then I have to be up at the crack of dawn cos the disability awards breakfast is on on Thurs morning. But there should be good coffee and bacon and eggs, so I don't mind that much. Hope all you crazy cats out there in interweb land are having a good day. I'm gonna go check my email and play on the itnerwebs till the training starts again.
See you.

Heya everyobody. I thought that i should probably post before Sept. This is cos september is going to be a fairly busy time for me. By which I mean extremely ridiculously busy. It will however be a good month. This is because the next payrise is due. In other good news the movie with johnny dep and the chocolate and oompa lumpas is about to come out. For some reason I am looking forward to this. I think i'm weird.
I shall cease writing now.

Hello fellow users of the world wide super interweb thinggie. Long time, no post. The life of Al continues. Gippsland also continues to be fairly boring. So last friday CHAS spent the remainder of the money in its cashbox. there was much beer and bread and dips. 'Twas fun to revisit 2nd floor and talk to people again, and to meet some new people and generally hang around melb unii having a good time. Things of the work variety continue to go along well. Although things at the moment are fairly busy. Between now and the end of semester there are many things happening. Still, its something to do. Speaking of which, i shall go and start doing those things. BTW, to those FOULies out there, Sept 23rd is a friday. that's the 1st weekend of AVCC common week.

AAAARG, Melting. It's MELTING. The snow is melting. Melting! How can it be snowday without snow? There is quite a bit of snow.
They've closed some of the roads going south into the hills, and are warning of black ice all the way to warragul.
